Some greyhound owners are lucky enough to hit the jackpot with their very first race dog.
That is certainly the case with Melbourne’s Kim Edgar, who purchased a greyhound pup for $8,000 from leading Victorian breeder, Brian Parkinson. That pup has turn out to be top class sprinter, Kayda Shae (whom Kim is pictured with above).
Kayda Shae made his debut in March 2015, and within two months he had made his first group final, running fourth to Ronray Spirit in the Warrnambool Cup.
