Country Cup greyhound racing is also taking place in Gippsland this weekend with five heats of the Group 2 $67,00 Traralgon Cup (525m)to be run on Saturday night.
With five straight wins to his name, the in-form Jesaulenko appears the best local chance of winning his way into next Saturday’s Group 2 final.
“He just loves the track, he always trials really well around Traralgon and is feeling great at, which sets him up really well for the Traralgon Cup heats,” trainer Terri-Maree Morris explained.
