Champion greyhound Tornado Tears is the one to beat in Saturday night’s $75,000 to-the-winner Topgun Stayers (725m) at The Meadows.

The champion stayer is chasing a fifth Group 1 victory in what will be his 50^th race start.

The son of Fernando Bale and Tears Siam has started favourite in his past 37 starts, and it will be no different on Saturday as he has opened up as the punters’ elect at $2.30 after drawing favourably in box two.
