THE saga surrounding NSW greyhound racing and the NSW Liberal-National government has been well covered and doesn’t require re-telling, but the fallout from the repeal of the Greyhound Racing Prohibition Bill known as the Greyhound Racing Bill 2017 is still yet to be fully understood.
The passing of the bill in both houses of parliament was a foregone conclusion, with the NSW Liberal-National government receiving the blessing of the NSW Labor Party to give the bill the rubber stamp.
