SHOOTERS, Fishers and Farmers Party MLC Robert Borsak has slammed the Animal Justice Party’s Mark Pearson for his last ditch attempt to bring down the greyhound racing industry.
On Thursday, Pearson revealed to Parliament he had lodged a written complaint to NSW Police, about criminal activity in the greyhound industry. He claims animal cruelty, illegal drugs, race-fixing and money laundering within the industry are rife.
Pearson’s allegations are based on Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) documents, delivered to the government under a Legislative Council Order for Papers.
Amongst these papers are ‘privileged’ and ‘non-privileged’ documents, many not available to the general public.
