Thirlmere trainer Mark Gatt kicked off his 2015 racing campaign in style at Gosford last night, as Ritza Hattie was victorious in the $40,000 Group Two Gosford Gold Cup. Exiting from box eight, Gatt wasn’t overly confident heading into the race with Zipping Willow drawn ideally in box one, however this multiple Group winning chaser had other ideas and produced a brilliant come from behind display in front of a packed Gosford venue.
