AN article titled Liz Brown claims commission’s ‘experts’ were unqualified published in Australian Racing Greyhound on 28 July 2016, reported claims made on Sydney radio that Drs Karen Dawson, Leonie Finister and Jade Norris had breached the Veterinary Practice Act 2003 by giving expert evidence to the NSW Special Commission of Inquiry into Greyhound Racing when they were not Fellows of the Australian Veterinary Association.
While Australian Racing Greyhound reported the claims in good faith, we now understand that Drs Dawson, Finister and Norris did not breach the Act in giving their evidence. We apologise without reservation for the report of Read full article
