A handful of past and present North Melbourne footballers are trying their hand at greyhound racing after purchasing a greyhound named Petey Baqui.
Raced by the SilverFox Syndicate who is managed by North Melbourne defender Luke McDonald together with his father, former North Melbourne player Donald McDonald as well as Taylor Garner, Ben Jacobs and Carlton footballer Aaron Mullett.
“I have always enjoyed watching the greyhound races, and the opportunity came around to purchase a greyhound and we jumped at the opportunity,” Luke McDonald said.
