SOUTH Australian chaser Optic Shimmer notched up her 10th consecutive victory at Gawler on Tuesday night, continuing a sensational run of form, which began back in April.
Owned and trained at Lewiston by Robyn Mackellar, the daughter of Hesa Felon and Miss Wisconsin, which was bred in New South Wales by successful trainer Amanda Ginn, blew her rivals away by three-and-one-quarter-lengths over the 531m distance, recording a 30.64 best of the day performance.
Mackellar was understandably delighted after the win and received plenty of praise afterwards from her keen followers on Facebook.
