Minister for Racing Martin Pakula today announced the appointment of retired Federal Court judge Shane Marshall as the new Chair of Greyhound Racing Victoria’s (GRV) Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Mr Marshall served as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia and Industrial Relations Court of Australia from 1995 until 2015, having been admitted to the Victorian Bar as a barrister in 1981.
He was also a non-resident judge of the ACT Supreme Court from 2004 to 2013.
