After the success of Wednesday night’s Warrnambool Cup and Classic that drew 1800 people, Greyhound Racing Victoria has appointed Craig Monigatti as the new manager of the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club.
Mr Monigatti joins the Warrnambool club after spending 14 years with the Carlton Football Club.
The appointment is something of a homecoming for Mr Monigatti, having grown up in the region and attending school in Warrnambool.
As well as being a Warrnambool local and having an extensive background in sport, Mr Monigatti has studied extensively, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Management and currently completing an MBA in Sports Management.
