There’s a ‘whisper’ tyro Rear View Mirror could be the “next big thing” in coursing.
He’s only been officially ‘slipped’ on three occasions, but is entered for the first round of the Waterloo Cup – coursing’s ‘holy grail’ – at Lang Lang on Saturday.
So, I went ‘through the looking glass’ to discover more about this potential coursing wunderkind who turns 18-months-old on September 1.
Trained by John Bosnich at Devon Meadows, Rear View Mirror (Mar ’19 Bernardo x Tyra Giselle) is up against coursing royalty on the weekend.
But Bosnich says Rear View Mirror’s mission is “not a throw at the stumps”.
