It’s now time to recap a historic week in metropolitan greyhound racing. Naturally we begin with the Fernando Bale after he showed complete dominance winning the Group 1 Harrison Dawson. The Andrea Dailly prepared runner produced yet another faultless performance easily beating Weston East and Caustic Bale in a red hot 29.14. After being sent off as the shortest favourite I’ve ever seen let alone in a Group 1, he delivered what the punters expected continuing his run of wins to 9 and now sitting on over $500,000 in career prize money.
