While Sunday’s Group 2 Shepparton Cup is the big ticket item in Victorian greyhound racing this weekend, there is a plethora of Victorian greyhounds contesting group races interstate over the coming days.
It all kicks off tonight with the $37,500 Group 3 Big Dog Cup (600m) at Albion Park in Queensland, with Clash Of Kings chasing his second group race on the road, having won the 2014 Group 3 Darwin Cup (537m).
Trainer Steve Whyte said he is “slightly confident” about Clash Of Kings’ chances of snaring the $25,000 first prize from Box 4.
