CRANEBROOK trainer Wayne Smith has been immediately suspended from training for alleged live-baiting offences following ongoing investigations by Greyhound Racing New South Wales (GRNSW).
The action to suspend Smith is in connection with the alleged live baiting at the property of Zeke Kadir, who has already been stood down by GRNSW. Smith was identified as a person of interest by GRNSW after viewing footage taken from secret surveillance cameras which were supplied by RSPCA NSW.
Three of Smith’s unnamed greyhounds have also been suspended pending an inquiry into his behaviour, since the damning screening of ABC’s Four Corners program last month. .
