It’s young talent time as Laurie Healion Maiden series begins

A PLETHORA of up-and-coming starts will be on show at Newcastle’s premier track, The Gardens, this Saturday, with the commencement of the Group 3 Laurie Healion Memorial Maiden heats over 515 metres.

This series has been won by some outstanding greyhounds in the past six years, with several greyhounds going onto victory in Group 1 finals. Lochinvar Marlow won the final back in 2009 and in 2010 saluted in the Group 1 Paws of Thunder.
