Suburban Melbourne volunteer group Riding Develops Abilities landed a $7,500 windfall on Thursday night thanks to a superb win by star greyhound Unlawful Entry in the Group 1 Hobart Thousand.
Unlawful Entry has now won a total of $22,480.50 for Riding Develops Abilities’ Oaklands Junction branch in Melbourne’s north since October, after a unique partnership was struck between the talented canine and the group.
The connection between Unlawful Entry and Riding Develops Abilities, which provides opportunities for people with disabilities to ride horses, began at Greyhound Racing Victoria’s biggest community event, the TAB Great Chase Grand Final at The Meadows.
