Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has made it very clear that there is zero tolerance for the barbaric practice of live baiting and that anyone found guilty of such actions can expect to face criminal charges as well as penalties under Local Racing Rules and Greyhounds Australasia Rules.
GRV has been assisting the RSPCA with their investigations into the events captured on video at the Tooradin Trial Track and supports its decision to bring criminal charges under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986.
