West Australian greyhounds have been stripped of their home-track advantage in this year’s Group one features, following the development of The New Cannington – TABtouch Park.
Devon Meadows trainer Tom O’Donovan has prepared his greyhound Ryno’s Raider for Saturday’s Group 1 $142,500 Galaxy over the 715 metre distance.
The son of Collision and Others Quoted has had 47 starts for 10 wins and 28 minor placings, earning over $97,000 in prize money.
“Cannington is a fresh track to everyone. I think it really suits the Victorians because it looks to be a combination of Cranbourne and The Meadows,” said O’Donovan, who Read full article
