THERE are calls for the greyhound racing community to band together and help after two NSW participants were involved in a horrific car accident earlier this month.
Dave and Jeanette Burgess, from Arcadia Vale, were travelling on their way to Gosford on May 10 when their car was struck head on along the M1 expressway.
Both were left with serious injuries – Dave was taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital and Jeanette transported to John Hunter Hospital.
