The Great Chase has been a ‘great’ concept – supporting the disability sector – since its inception in 2003. And it continues to get even greater!
And today, the 18th staging of the Group 3 TAB Great Chase Grand Final (525m) – conducted at The Meadows – was won by a Gippsland-based speedster headed for greatness.
The William McMahon-trained Dr. Tucker (Bernardo x Dr. Dawn) collected a $47,000 first prize for connections with a dashing frontrunning display.
Bouncing out of Box 5, Dr. Tucker ($5.10) defeated Earn The Answers ($6.50) by 1.6L, with Sovereign Wind ($7.30) a further 4.6L away third in 30.05sec.
