Hot favourite Tornado Tears won his first group race when winning an exciting battle against litter brother Rippin’ Sam in the 2018 RSN Sandown Cup (715m) tonight.
Robert Britton trained the trifecta, as Quick Jagger finished third, but it was a race that was hard to predict throughout after Britton’s other finalist, Benali opened up an early lead.
