The highly sought after Group 1 Hume Cup will be hotly contested by eight elite greyhounds this Monday night with $75,000 to the winner.
Hosted at The Meadows by the Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association on Monday night October 31, the $108,000 middle distance race (600 metres) was named the Hume Cup to signify the strong relationship between The Meadows and the Hume City Council, after the race was originally named the Lord Mayors Cup.
