From Monday, Greyhound Racing Victoria is hosting a series of forums and support days as it works with greyhound racing participants to provide feedback on the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources’ (DEDJTR’s) draft Code of Practice for the Keeping of Racing Greyhounds.
The 88-page draft code was released by the Victorian Government last week, and it relates to minimum standards required with regard to the caring and management of greyhounds throughout their life within the sport.
