Longwood folk won’t know what’s hit them this weekend when coursing comes to town on Saturday and Sunday for the running of the 2016 Victoria Derby and Oaks as well as the Twin Code Challenge.
The Twin Code Challenge requires the stamina of coursing and the speed of the short-course circuit in order to compete in both codes – which will be a necessary requirement when the winners and runners up of the final earn the right to compete at the Shepparton Greyhound Racing Club over 390m on August 4 for the major prize.
