It will be an action-packed night of racing at Cranbourne this evening, with three star-studded heats of the Group 3 Cranbourne Classic (520m).
Excitement machine Aston Kimetto, fresh from a stunning last-to-first win in last Sunday’s Group 3 St Leger (460m) at Warragul, will be looking to add to his outstanding record of five wins from six starts.
A son of former champion staying female Sweet It Is, the slow-beginning Aston Kimetto is currently a $2.80 chance to win his heat one behind Chief’s Sidekick ($2.20). The race will start at 8.15pm.
