All eyes are on local greyhound, Wally Milne who is setting his sights on becoming the first locally trained greyhound to win the Group 2 Triple M Bendigo Cup since 1997.
Trainer Rodney Clark, who is based in nearby town Toolleen, is looking forward to the race on Friday night and confident with the box 1 draw.
“To come up with Box 1, we are absolutely delighted” he told Simone Fisher.
“Bendigo is his favourite track, with 5 wins and 2 places in his last 7 starts.”
