CHAMPION greyhound Zambora Brockie has issued a stern warning to his fellow competitors heading towards the Group 1 National Sprint Championship following his emphatic victory at The Meadows on Saturday night.
Starting from box four in the Victorian Sprint decider, the Anthony Azzopardi-trained dog began cleanly and was able to slip into second spot behind Alpha Demeter (box three) in the early stages.
Heading down the back and the $1.80 favourite was still three lengths off the lamplighter, with the super strong Dundee Osprey (box five) back in third spot.
