BIG Flood stamped himself as one of the hottest pups in the country with a blistering triumph in Wednesday night’s Listed Australian Sprint (515m) at Sandown Park.
Beginning well from box one, the Jason Thompson-trained dog was able to push up along the fence and roll to the early lead, kicking away from Don’t Kid Me (box six) around the first turn.
Down the back, Big Flood slipped into top gear, sprinting clear of his opponents in the charge towards the home turn.
