Race meetings scheduled for Bendigo and Warrnambool this Friday have been moved to different time slots due to predicted extreme hot weather conditions.
Under Greyhound Racing Victoria’s recently reviewed Hot Weather Policy, greyhound racing or trialling cannot be conducted if the temperature exceeds 38 degrees.
Friday’s Bendigo meeting will be moved from the twilight to the day while the meeting at Warrnambool will be brought forward from a twilight meeting to a day meeting.
Thursday’s day meeting at Traralgon has been moved from the day to a twilight meeting.
