Only a handful of greyhounds hold an honour sheet like this one; the 2018 Group 2 Warragul Cup, 2018 Group 3 Shootout, 2017 Group 2 Ballarat Cup and the biggest race of them all the 2017 TAB Group 1 Melbourne Cup – we are of course talking about Aston Dee Bee who has both fortunately and unfortunately called it a day on the racetrack.
The son of Barcia Bale and Aston Elle had 65 starts for 35 wins and 16 minor placings earning $809,185 in prize money – making him the Australian greyhound racing’s sixth highest all-time prize money earner.
