The Board of Greyhounds Australasia (GA) has approved amended national rules (GARs) effective 1 November 2015. See attached.
The amendments allow authorities to collect hair samples from a greyhound for the purposes of testing for prohibited substances.
The objective of all new and amended rules is to further strengthen industry integrity and the welfare of all greyhounds whether racing, being prepared to race or retired.
