THE best young bitches in the Sunshine State will line up at Albion Park this Thursday night for the running of the Group 2 Bogie Leigh Queensland Futurity.
The race is named after one of the best the sport has seen, Bogie Leigh, who won the race in 2003 for leading Queensland mentor Tony Brett.
The race was first run at the Gabba back in 1973 when taken out by Little Coleen and since that time it has been won by some brilliant female greyhounds such as Winged Runner, Bogie Leigh and Queen Lauryn.
